Mutual Exchange 

Our tenants may arrange mutual exchanges within Association properties or with tenants of other social landlord’s e.g. council tenants, or other housing association tenants.

Ferguslie Park Housing Association will encourage mutual exchanges between parties where both households would benefit from the exchange and be housed in appropriately sized accommodation.

To qualify for a mutual exchange tenants must:

• obtain our written consent and the written consent of any other landlord involved in the exchange

• have a clear rent account

• have a Scottish Secure Tenancy

• not be the subject of an ASBO or Notice of Proceedings

To request a mutual exchange both parties must complete and submit a mutual exchange application from to all landlords involved.
