Application Form Status
Once you have submitted your complete Housing Application form, the application will then move through several stages as we assess your housing need. If you are actively using the Customer Portal you may notice the application status change.
Below you will find a list of the application status, followed by an example of why your application may be at this stage and an estimated timescales it will remain there.
- Draft - Once you begin completing the online application, if you select the save option it will save a draft copy for you to return to at a later date. Draft applications are not visible to our staff until the application form has been complete in full and the Finish button has been selected at the end.
- Entered - Once the application form has been completed and the Finish button selected, the application will then enter the first phase of the assessment process. The Entered status shows on all newly submitted applications, these are then revewied and moved to the next status depending on if all the supporting information required has been provided.
- Declined - If you fail to provide all the supporting documents we require to assess your housing need, your application will be moved to the declined status. We will either post or upload (depending on your selected preference) a letter which details the information we require before being able to assess your application. We will give you 20 working days to provide this information. If the supporting documents are received your application will progress to the next phase, if you fail to provide all of the supporting documents within the 20 working days your application will be cancelled.
- Accepted - If you have provided all the required supporting documents, your application will be moved to the accepted stage ready for assessment. Application will normally remain at this stage for 5 working days before being progressed to Live and a points award letter being issued by either post or uploaded to the electronic filing cabinet (depending on your selected preference).
- Live - All applications with a Live status will have provided the full relevant supporting information to allow us to assess the applicant's housing need. This is where applications will remain until you are either made an offer or there is a change in your circumstances.
- Cancelled - Applications within this status are no longer actively queuing for rehousing. Applications may be moved to this stage if you've had a change of circumstances and have to complete a new application, if you have to respond to an Annual Review, if you have failed to provide all the supporting documents requested within 20 working days or if you indicate you no longer wish to remain on FPHA's waiting list.
