About Us
Ferguslie Park Housing Association (FPHA) is a community-based housing association governed by a volunteer board of directors. Our mission is to create a vibrant community that takes ownership of its own future, and we strive to achieve this through our work.
Our vision statement, "Serving the Community - Valued by the Community," encapsulates our role and ultimate goal. We are a registered social landlord and a society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, and have been a registered Scottish charity since 2003. We do not distribute our profits, but instead reinvest them to benefit our current and future customers.
We have developed a set of organisational values which we use to guide our behaviour. These values also inform our strategic objectives and the approach we will adopt. Our core values are compassion, inclusion, integrity and professionalism.
As a social landlord, we are regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). The SHR is responsible for regulating social landlords in Scotland, while OSCR regulates charities. The two organizations have agreed to work together to avoid duplication and share information, as outlined in their joint memorandum.
