12 Aug Smoke & Heat Detector Installation restarts Monday 17th August 2020 From Monday the 17th August the Planned Investment team will be restarting the contract works to install new smoke and heat detectors in all properties, as well as routine inspections of the electrical systems in 580 homes.

08 Jun Bulk Uplift Service Resumes From Monday 15 June we will resuming our bulk uplift service. If you would like to request an uplift please call the Association on: 0141 887 4053 and select Optoin 1 or Email your request to admin@fpha.org.uk
03 Jun Ferguslie Essentails Fund Now Available The Association has been successful in getting Scottish Government funding to introduce a Covid-19 help scheme called the Ferguslie Essentials Fund. The scheme is open to all residents of Ferguslie, not just tenants of the Association, who may be struggling to meet the costs of some household items. Please telephone 0141 887 4053 and choose option 1, 2 or 3 on your telephone keypad to speak to a member of staff or drop a line to admin@fpha.org.uk
28 May Ferguslie Residents Free Counselling Service Free counselling service on offer for the residents of Ferguslie Park.

22 Apr Welfare Rights Service Money Worries and Coronavirus Despite our office being closed our Welfare Rights team are still available to help any tenants with any money worries and concerns. Please do not hesitate in contacting us to have a confidential chat.
21 Apr Ground Maintenance in Common Areas The Association has postponed the start of grass cutting works due to the issues surrounding coronavirus. However we have worked closely with our contractor, Caledonian Maintenance Services, and will restart the cutting of common areas that we are responsible for looking after.
15 Apr Support for those at high COVID-19 risk A new national helpline opened 14th April 2020 to provide essential assistance to those who don’t have a network of support but who are at high risk of contracting COVID-19.
15 Apr Universal Credit Verification - DWP number may appear as "0800" "private" "number withheld" If you have made a claim for Universal Credit please be aware that the DWP will contact you to verify your claim. DWP number may appear as 0800 number, ‘private’ or ‘number withheld’. The DWP will let you know via your online journal that they intend to call you soon, it is important that you answer the DWP call to process your Universal Credit claim.

06 Apr Support for victims of domestic violence during COVID-19 outbreak Grants from the Scottish Government’s £350 million Communities Fund have been made to Scottish Women’s Aid and Rape Crisis Scotland.

Please contact your Housing Services Officer if you require information on your rent and/or service charges.

17 Mar Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information as at 17th March 2020 at 14:15 Following the advice given by the Government on the 16th March 2020, the Association has reluctantly taken the decision to close our office to visitors. The Association can be contacted by telephone on 0141 887 4053 as normal where staff will be available to take your call. Our office hours for telephone calls remains the same as 9.00am to 5pm.
16 Mar New Rent Charge Effective Today - Please update your Universal Credit Tenants in receipt of Universal Credit: your new rent charge has come into effect today. Please update your Universal Credit Journal with your new rent charge. If you do not update your new rent charge in your journal your full housing costs will no longer be paid by Universal Credit and you will be responsible to pay the shortfall on your rent. If your require any assistance in doing so please do not hesitate to contact your Housing Services Officer or our Welfare Rights Service.

07 Oct Interested in Tenant Participation? Get Involved! We are pleased to announce that we have been selected to be part of a Scottish Government backed scheme which will help us to develop a new Tenant Participation Strategy for the Association. The ‘Next Steps’ programme will help us review, improve and develop our tenant participation and tenant scrutiny arrangements, and develop an action plan for doing so. Tenants are at the heart of the Next Steps programme, and we want you to be involved.
